Malus spp. 10x14' ‘Molten Lava’ × [(Red Jade × Lemoine) × Malus toringoides] John Fiala intro, Falconskeape, Medina, OH, 1989. Originally called Red Snow.

Reddish-pink buds and 1½" brilliant white flowers. Masses of small elliptical bright red persistent fruit hang until January. Golden-yellow fall foliage.

Wide mop-topped disheveled weeping form with long fine graceful branches. Annual bloomer. Fiala considered it one of his best introductions. Highly disease resistant. Z4. Maine Grown. (Standard: 3–6' bare-root trees)
