In our trials Nova appears as hardy, if not hardier, than Boyne and on par in fruit quality, too. Medium-sized firm somewhat acid bright red fruit. Upright productive minimally spiny canes produce long fruiting laterals that make berries easy to pick.

Summer-bearing raspberries bear on second-year canes (floricanes).
